Job Summary

We are hiring a Shift In-Charge (Production) for our manufacturing facility in Tindivanam. The ideal candidate will manage all production activities during the assigned shift, ensure target achievement, maintain quality, and lead the production team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and control all production activities during the shift.
  • Ensure daily production targets are achieved.
  • Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns.
  • Conduct routine quality checks and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Allocate manpower and supervise operators, technicians, and helpers.
  • Maintain accurate shift-wise production reports and documentation.
  • Ensure safety rules, PPE usage, and 5S practices are strictly followed.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
  • 3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience as Shift In-Charge, Supervisor, or Senior Operator preferred.
  • Knowledge of production processes, machinery, and quality standards.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP preferred).

  • Strong leadership and team management
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Good communication and coordination
  • Ability to manage pressure and meet targets
  • Knowledge of 5S, Lean, or Kaizen (added advantage)
