The Role: Assistant Manager, General Fundamentals Team

The Team: Fundamentals team provides the highest quality of Fundamentals Data and relevant industry-related information essential for our clients to make decisions with conviction. The current position is with General Fundamentals wherein we provide comprehensive global data coverage for over 65000 public & private companies. The General Fundamentals team operates in two Operating centers Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. The team collects information from publicly available documents of private and public companies.

The Impact: This role would involve leading a team of ~15 Data Researchers as well as planning, prioritization, and execution on BAU (Business as Usual) activities, projects & initiatives. The role requires sound knowledge of workflow, collection processes and good coordination among peers across all offices to ensure accurate & timely collection of data.

Responsibilities:

  • Should successfully lead and manage a team of individual contributors, virtually & in person to establish goals aligned to overall domain objectives and ensure that expected results are delivered on time, monitor and measure individual and team performance periodically
  • Creating an environment of consistent improvement, motivating the team to perform at a higher efficiency, fostering a culture and initiatives that focus on team building and unity
  • Coordinate with team leads and managers across all offices or other teams as required and work closely on deliverables, projects, or initiatives as required
  • Ensuring clear and transparent communication across all levels and teams. Own and is accountable for the performance of the team and the effectiveness of the production process
  • Responsible for collecting feedback, working on testing, and all other tasks associated with the development of collection tools and systems
  • Present and execute ideas for improving overall departmental processes, procedures, and tools
  • Continuously implement and innovate techniques to maximize productivity
  • Prepare various production and quality metrics and reports and ad-hoc analysis highlighting the status and/or progress of relevant matters to be worked/resolved
  • Work on workflow analysis, monitoring, and resource allocation as daily operational activity
  • Manage the performance of team members and conduct reviews
  • Conduct intensive training for the team, Plan resource requirements, and develop back-up and succession plans
  • Manage the aspirations of team members and create an environment of continuous improvement

What We are Looking For:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to execute independently.
  • Good problem-resolution skills through effective collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Understanding of Lean/ Six Sigma and basics of Gen AI
  • Capacity to give and accept feedback constructively and provide coaching to the team.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work across various shifts including night shift on a rotational or need basis
  • People management skills, ability to build and motivate a team
  • Maintains high ethical standards personally and professionally, to maintain transparency in the team. Detailed analysis
  • Proven ability to work with minimal direction, and maintain focus while working on routine tasks
  • Good knowledge of the General Fundamentals Domain and knowledge of Fundamentals data collection is required
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and SQL would be an added advantage
  • Understanding of lean principles, Blue Prism, Python, Tableau, Six Sigma certification, and SQL would be an added advantage
  • An Experienced lead data analyst with the above-mentioned skills is preferred
