About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and innovative Cloud Native Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and applications using cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, containers, microservices, and infrastructure-as-code. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and platform teams to enable scalable, reliable, and secure systems that align with cloud-native principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and manage cloud-native infrastructure and applications on platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, and public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines optimized for microservices and container-based deployments.
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools.
  • Monitor and improve system reliability, scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to containerize applications and adopt 12-factor principles.
  • Implement observability tools and practices including metrics, logs, and tracing.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and deployment tasks.
  • Ensure security and compliance across cloud-native infrastructure and processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certifications.
  • Experience with GitOps workflows (e.g., Argo CD, Flux).
  • Exposure to serverless and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd, etc.).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Loki, etc.).
  • Experience with security best practices in Kubernetes and cloud environments.
  • Understanding of policy as code (e.g., OPA/Gatekeeper).
