Overall Purpose of The Job
Be the Primary Responsible & Accountable person, providing an efficient and effective technical document service to the Docking Project Management and Fleet Cell team members.

To develop and provide accurate up to date Technical Information Documents on advanced levels of project management.

Manage the Technical Documents of vessels Due for Dry Dock, to the highest Safety Standards in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and in accordance with VMS, ensuring outstanding service delivery to customers

To ensure that all Docking Documents are processed in accordance with VMS and internal Docking processes and that all appropriate survey certification documents are up to date.

Engage with Fleet Cells and agree time scales for Docking processes.

Collect and file necessary documents collected through the team and ensure to always verify correctness of the data for every project.

Plan, control all Technical Documents relating to all activities connected with Dry Dock, maintenance, repairs, conversion, or modification of assigned vessels. This to be in line with Flag, Class, and Statutory Requirements.

Provide support and have knowledge of IMO, MARPOL SOLAS and Maritime Regulatory Systems.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks
Ensure all Documentation relating to Docking Function is collected and filed in an orderly manner.

Preparing Project Manager information sheets for sending to owners for approvals.

Follow up with Vessels for receiving all documents for all completed jobs and supplies.

Follow up with documented information to change status in Shipsure for all completed activities.

To deal with various internal / external parties to meet specific client / Group requirements.

To liaise with Vessel for generating reports from the ship and distribute to relevant persons in a timely manner.

To assist in preparation of client presentation as per PM requirement.

To provide familiarization and training on company approved docking project management platform to users.

Essential
Recognized Graduate in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.

Minimum 5 years if experience in Maritime technical documentation, dry docking or Ship repair or relevant Technical Superintendency with docking experience or equivalent.

Strong understanding of Dry Docking workflows , and class / statutory documentation and various project reporting at regular intervals (daily, monthly, quarterly, ad hoc).

Good communication (oral and written) and English language skills,

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and interact with people at all levels.

Good planning and organizational skills

Advanced level MS, Word, Excel, Power Point.

Desirable
Working experience in Marine/Technical and Docking Industry.

Basic financial understanding and some experience in administering budgets.
