About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced iOS Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a deep understanding of iOS frameworks, and is passionate about creating seamless user experiences. As a senior member of the mobile team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-performance mobile applications that delight our users.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and Objective-C.
Lead architecture and development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance iOS applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Mentor and guide junior developers through code reviews, best practices, & technical support.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
Contribute to technical documentation and maintain coding standards.
Collaborate with designers and product teams to transform user needs into delightful app experiences.
Advocate for mobile-first thinking within the broader product strategy.
Work closely with analytics teams to track user behaviour and app performance.
Create modular and reusable components that speed up feature development.
Ensure high code quality through unit testing, UI testing, and adherence to coding standards and design patterns.
Proactively identify technical challenges and work toward solutions that improve app performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Stay ahead of iOS trends and updates, advocating for the adoption of new technologies and tools to drive efficiency and innovation.
Contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices, ensuring rapid and safe delivery of features.
Monitor crash reports and analytics tools to proactively address issues.
Ensure compliance with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and App Store policies.
Required Qualifications:
4–8 years of hands-on iOS development experience
Strong proficiency in Swift, with a solid understanding of Objective-C
Deep knowledge of UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, & other Apple frameworks.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, & mobile architecture patterns like MVVM/MVC.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Proficient in unit testing and UI testing.
Experience in deploying apps to the App Store and managing the release lifecycle.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Preference.
Experience working with Swift UI and Combine.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience in mobile security, performance tuning, and analytics integration.
Prior experience in mentoring teams or leading iOS projects.
