Job description

Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Organize and conduct safety training sessions for employees.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.

Maintain records of all health, safety, and environmental activities and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and procedures.

Participate in safety committees and meetings to discuss safety concerns and initiatives.

Stay updated on new laws and regulations related to health, safety, and environmental issues.

Promote a positive safety culture through communication and training initiatives.

Monitor workplace conditions to ensure they meet safety standards and provide recommendations for improvement.
