Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Die Design Engineer based in Chennai. The Die Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and designing sheet metal dies, creating detailed CAD models, and collaborating with the project management team. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing customer requirements, optimizing designs for manufacturing, and ensuring that all die designs meet industry standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design, with an ability to create innovative and efficient solutions
  • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with a working knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts
  • Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and their application in die design
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail with excellent technical documentation skills
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field
  • Industry experience in sheet metal die design for Automotive or related sectors is a strong advantage
