Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage daily financial operations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, vendor payments, payroll support, and compliance requirements while maintaining strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks).
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and journal entries.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers, and bank records.

2. Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Perform monthly bank and vendor reconciliations.
  • Generate MIS reports, financial summaries, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in preparation of annual financial statements.

3. Payments & Billing

  • Process vendor invoices, reimbursements, and staff claims.
  • Ensure timely payment cycles and proper documentation.
  • Create purchase orders, bills, and receipts.

4. Taxation & Compliance

  • Assist with GST filings, TDS calculations, and IT return support.
  • Ensure all statutory compliance documents are up to date.
  • Coordinate with auditors for quarterly and annual audits.

5. Budgeting & Support Activities

  • Support budget preparation and cost monitoring.
  • Track expenses against approved budgets.
  • Maintain proper record-keeping for management review.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting (NGO/startup experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Tally/Zoho Books/QuickBooks and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and basic finance regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
  • Strong ethical standards and confidentiality.
