Job Description

We are looking for an experienced
Tech Lead
to drive the design and development of scalable applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Java, API & Integration, Web Services, , and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
. The role involves end-to-end ownership of the SDLC, mentoring developers, and ensuring seamless integrations across systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture, design, and development of scalable, high-performance applications using Java, , and cloud technologies.
  • Build and integrate robust APIs using REST, SOAP, and microservices architecture.
  • Manage full SDLC from requirements to deployment, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup and smooth deployments.
  • Mentor and guide developers, enforcing best practices in coding, design, and performance optimization.
  • Leverage
    GCP services
    (Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage) for cloud-native solutions.
  • Integrate third-party systems ensuring secure, seamless API communication and data flow.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in applications and integrations.
  • Stay updated with emerging tools/technologies and introduce modern practices to the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Java:
    Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
  • API Development & Integration:
    RESTful APIs, SOAP services, third-party integrations.
  • Back-end development and service integration.
  • Cloud:
    Hands-on with
    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    .
  • Microservices:
    Experience with Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Version Control & CI/CD:
    Git, GitLab pipelines.
  • Databases:
    SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Unix/Linux:
    Scripting, command-line tools, troubleshooting.
  • WAS:
    Prior experience in WebSphere Application Server integration/deployment.

Good to Have

  • Apache Kafka
    for event-driven and streaming systems.
  • NoSQL databases
    (MongoDB, Cassandra, Firebase).
  • Containerization & Orchestration:
    Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring & Logging Tools:
    ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • UI Exposure:
    React, Angular, or JavaScript for front-end integration.
  • Agile Methodologies
    experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years
    in software development (full-stack focus).
  • 5+ years
    in leadership roles managing/mentoring developers.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
