Role Description
As a Databricks Solution Architect at InspireXT, you will partner with our customers to design scalable, governed data architectures and lead migrations into the Databricks Lakehouse.

You will bring technical depth and business acumen to drive complex discussions and establish Databricks as the architecture of choice for regulated supply chains.

You will work closely with InspireXT Client Partners and Databricks AEs/SAs to influence accounts, capture the technical win, and deliver tangible business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Delivery :

• Design Medallion Lakehouse architectures with Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, DLT pipelines, and MLflow.
• Lead migrations from EDWs & CDWs into Databricks.
• Integrate ERP, CRM, MES, LIMS, and IoT sources into governed Delta layers.
• Establish Databricks Lakehouse as the standard data architecture.

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

• Collaborate with Client Partners to shape account strategies and win technical decisions.
• Lead discovery workshops, develop reference architectures, and present demos to business and technical stakeholders.
• Capture the technical win by validating Databricks integrations with ERP, CRM, and partner applications.

Thought Leadership

• Act as a trusted advisor and event speaker, representing InspireXT and Databricks at industry forums, conferences, and webinars.
• Promote Databricks-inspired open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow) across developer communities.
• Mentor engineers and build repeatable accelerators for identified and selected Industry use cases.

Migration Tools Awareness

• Apply SQL migration toolkits such as Remorph (Databricks Labs) and Lakebridge, with critical awareness of their limitations.
• Design reconciliation pipelines (data diffs, lineage validation, regression checks) where automated tooling falls short.

Requirements

• 5+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, architecture, or consulting roles, overall 10+ years of experience in data, analytics and AI technologies.
• Proven experience in Databricks architecture : Unity Catalog, Medallion, Delta Lake, DLT, DBSQL, MLflow.
• Strong familiarity with ERP/CRM/EPM/LIMS/EDW/CDW, database integration, and cross platform migrations and integrations.
• Hands-on with big data engineering (Spark, Kafka), SQL/ETL, and cloud data warehousing.
• Programming in Python or Scala (Java/R desirable).
• Skilled at translating business problems into technology solutions and presenting to executive stakeholders.
• Experience designing and delivering production-ready data architectures on cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP welcome).

Good To Have

• Industry experience in Pharma, Manufacturing, or Retail supply chains.
• Certifications : Databricks Data Engineer or Solutions Architect, Oracle Cloud Data Management, Azure/AWS Architect.
