supports the university's internationalisation efforts by managing administrative operations, facilitating student and faculty global engagements, and coordinating international partnerships. This position involves overseeing logistical arrangements for global initiatives, maintaining records, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth execution of international programs, events, and collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the Office of Global Affairs, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain and update databases for partnerships, student participation overseas, exchange programs, and visiting scholars.
- Assist students in applying for international opportunities, including exchange programs, internships, scholarships, and global fellowships.
- Provide guidance on application processes, eligibility criteria, and required documentation.
- Organise & manage logistics, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and hospitality for international guests.
- Serve as a point of contact for international students and faculty, assisting with onboarding, orientation, and integration.
- Collaborate with departments such as Admissions, Finance, and Student Affairs to streamline the activities at the OGA.
- Conduct research on international academic trends, grants, academic opportunities, study-abroad programs, and best practices in global engagement.
- Develop content for international communications, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Assist in managing the OGA's website and social media presence to showcase global initiatives.
- Represent the university at education fairs, partner meetings, and forums when required.
