Position: Platform Engineer

Experience: 4-10 Years

Work Location: HBR Layout, Bangalore

Work Mode: Work from Office 5 days

Job Type: Permanent/Fulltime Position

Interview Mode: Virtual

Shift Details: 24/7 Rotational (2 ways cab with dinner from company)

Mandatory Skills:

GCP, Terraform, Composer 3, dataflow, Experience on Agentic AI/LLM is a plus

Platform Engineer responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage data pipelines using Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer) on GCP.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Dataflow (Apache Beam).
  • Define and deploy infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to manage GCP resources.
  • Automate pipeline deployments, monitoring, and error handling using industry best practices.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability throughout data workflows.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, platform, and analytics teams to understand data requirements.
  • Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of cloud-based data workflows.
  • Support version control, CI/CD processes, and code reviews.
  • Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards across cloud infrastructure
