Major Responsibilities

  • Maintain a large hybrid Linux server infrastructure and manage the adaption process.
  • Regularly evaluate automation processes, and software
  • Keep up with state-of-the-art Linux features and work closely with IT security to enforce and monitor the company's privacy.
  • Automation of large scale and hybrid Linux environments
  • Maintain and support Container environments
  • Support in different migration and rollout projects
  • Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Work closely with customer to implement and/or consult requested solutions
  • Work closely with IT security to maintain and monitor the company's privacy

Skills and Competencies

  • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux distributions (RedHat/Rocky/Debian/Ubuntu) and DevOps driven environment.
  • Understand complex Linux server infrastructure designs and potential issues.
  • Knowledge about basic core infrastructure services and protocols, including DNS, SMTP, DHCP, and NTP.
  • Demonstrated scripting/coding ability. Familiarity with Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible, Github and other/similar (scripting/automation) DevOps tools is strongly recommended.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated infrastructure reports to management and other IT development partners.
  • Able to communicate in English Language (listening, writing, speaking).

Knowledge and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field.
  • Certifications (Azure fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner , Red Hat Certified Engineer or higher)
