Key Responsibilities

Network & Security Monitoring -

Proactively monitor network traffic, firewalls, and system logs to detect unusual activity.

Prevent and respond to cyber threats by applying timely security patches and updates.

Maintain endpoint protection, antivirus, and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.

Ensure compliance with IT security standards and support internal/external audits.

System & Infrastructure Management -

✓Monitor server health (uptime, CPU, memory, disk usage).

✓Apply OS, application, and security patches regularly.

✓Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure (VMs, storage, networking).

✓Test backups and disaster recovery readiness.

End-User Support & Vendor Coordination -

✓Handle laptop/system procurement, setup, and deployment.

✓Liaise with vendors for warranty claims, hardware repairs, and replacements.

✓Respond to IT helpdesk tickets, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime.

✓Maintain updated IT asset inventory and documentation.

Preferred Experience (Added Advantage)-

✓Hands-on with Acronis Cyber Protection (backup & recovery).

✓Experience with Fortinet firewalls and network security tools.

✓Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.

Qualifications & Certifications

✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

✓Proven experience in network/system administration.

✓Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments.

✓Familiarity with Active Directory / Entra ID, SSO, and MFA.

✓Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls).

✓Relevant certifications (preferred but not mandatory):


•Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate


•Fortinet NSE (Network Security Expert)


•CompTIA Security+ / Network+


•ITIL Foundation
