Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop quantum algorithms for various applications such as optimization, cryptography, machine learning, and simulation.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify quantum-enhanced solutions for industry-specific challenges.

Work with quantum computing platforms (e.g., IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ, D-Wave) and frameworks like Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.

Conduct simulations and benchmarking of quantum circuits and hybrid quantum-classical workflows.

Stay current with advancements in quantum hardware and software, publishing findings in academic journals or conferences when appropriate.

Contribute to open-source projects and internal R&D initiatives.

Mentor junior team members and support the development of internal quantum capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

Masters or Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science field with focus on quantum computing or quantum information.

Strong understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and computational complexity.

Hands-on experience with at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq, Braket, PennyLane, etc.).

Proficiency in Python and experience with classical simulation tools.

Demonstrated research ability via publications, patents, or successful projects.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with hybrid quantum-classical algorithms (e.g., VQE, QAOA).

Familiarity with quantum error correction and noise mitigation techniques.

Experience working with cloud-based quantum systems (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, IBM Q).

Background in machine learning, cryptography, or other specialized domains.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
