Advertisement for the Post of Junior Research Assistant (JRA) (on contract) under the CSTUP Project

Applications are invited from Indian citizens who are resident of Uttar Pradesh only for the Project position as per the details given below for the research project under the Principal Investigator Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Department of Mechanical Engineering, KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR Ghaziabad.

  1. Title of Project: Amalgamation and Characterization of Coal Waste Reinforcement Composite for Fused Filaments Technology
  2. Project Position and number: Junior Research Assistant (JRA) & 01

  3. Qualification:

  4. M.Tech/BE/B. Tech (preferably in Mechanical/Production Engineering) with first class in graduate examination and post-graduate examination (if applicable). Candidates with higher qualifications may also apply.

  5. The upper age limit for a junior research assistant shall be 28 years as on 1st April 2025.

  6. Emoluments: 28,000/- per month (Fixed). No HRA will be admissible.

  7. Duration: Purely contractual for 2 years or up to the date of completion of the project, as per rule.

  8. Job Description: Fabrication of Experimentation set up, experimentation, data analysis, working closely with PI to attain the objectives of the project proposal.

Note:

  1. The applicant should be an Indian Citizen and a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
  2. Candidate before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intended to apply.
  3. The Institute reserves the right to accept/reject the application at any time, and/or consider candidates of exceptional credentials without applications.
  4. Mere possession of the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate will be called for an Interview. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit and the need for the project.
  5. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email about the interview date. So, the candidates must provide a valid e-mail ID in their applications.
  6. Shortlisted candidates have to present themselves for the interview on the interview date with an updated CV, and original and attested photocopies of mark sheets/certificates in support of their academic qualifications.
  7. Applicants in employment (private, government, or any other organization) are required to submit a No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of the interview.
  8. The association between the PI and the candidate can be discontinued at any time by giving one month notice in writing, either by the PI of the project to the candidate or by the candidate to the PI of the project.
  9. This appointment will be purely contractual. Initially, the appointment will be for the first year. It will be renewed for another year or till the end of the project, whichever is earlier, based on the performance of the candidate and the recommendation of the selection/review committee.
  10. Candidate shall bring the original certificate (s)/degree(s) at the time of interview for verification.
  11. Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
