1. Primary Responsibilities

Server & Domain Management

  • Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Domain Controllers (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO).
  • Maintain webservers on both Windows and Linux platforms (IIS, Apache, Nginx, etc.).

Virtualization & Cloud

  • Design, deploy, and manage virtual environments using VMware vSphere and Proxmox.
  • Perform VM lifecycle management, snapshots, migrations, and resource optimization.

Development / Programming Knowledge

  • Familiarity with core programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, or as required).
  • Ability to write automation scripts for server and infrastructure tasks.

Containerization & Orchestration

  • Manage and deploy Docker containers and images.
  • Work with Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
  • Understand SLURM or other job scheduling systems for HPC or batch processing environments.

Storage & Backup Management

  • Manage enterprise storage solutions (HPE, NetApp, Dell EMC).
  • Configure and maintain RAID arrays and FC/iSCSI LUNs.
  • Implement and monitor backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, or equivalent).
  • Perform storage performance optimization and capacity planning.

Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Monitor server performance, uptime, and system health.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues proactively.
  • Maintain documentation for server configurations, backup strategies, and disaster recovery procedures.

2. Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
  • Experience in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and domain services.
  • Virtualization expertise (VMware vSphere, Proxmox).
  • Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, SLURM).
  • Storage systems management (HPE, NetApp, Dell EMC) including RAID, FC/iSCSI.
  • Backup solutions management (Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, etc.).
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
  • Scripting/programming (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to document procedures and maintain system logs.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Adaptability to handle both server operations and DevOps tasks.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3. Preferred/Optional Skills

  • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Experience in high-performance computing environments.

Pay: ₹40, ₹60,000.00 per month
