Job Description:

  • OSI layers (Switching & routing knowledge)
  • TCP/UDP difference
  • Wi-Fi Standards Like a/b/g/n- 2GHz/5GHz (6GHz-optional)
  • Wi-Fi Standards differences- basic and supported rates
  • WLAN protocols- DHCP, IPv4/IPv6, TCP vs UDP
  • Security types 4 way hand-shake (mandatory)- WPA3-optional
  • Should have basic knowledge on Wireshark, iperf, tcpdump, etc
  • Wireshark filters
  • How a device connects to a router and get IP (Beacon-Probe-Assoc-4waykey-Auth-DHCP)
  • Basic debugging skills- Ex. Device not connecting to a router
