What You'll Do

As a Mobile Tester at Zoop.One, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Android and iOS applications, as well as the backend APIs that power them. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business teams to understand requirements, execute test cases, and identify issues early in the development cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute detailed test cases and test scenarios for Android and iOS mobile applications.
  • Perform functional, usability, regression, and exploratory testing of mobile apps.
  • Test RESTful APIs for correctness, reliability, performance, and security using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Validate end-to-end workflows that include both mobile UI and API interactions.
  • Log, track, and manage defects clearly in JIRA, providing reproducible steps.
  • Work closely with developers and business teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, test plans, and test data.
  • Support basic automation of API and mobile test cases using tools like Appium or Postman scripting.
  • Validate bug fixes and perform thorough testing before production releases.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

What We're Looking For

  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing and API Testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Android and iOS platforms.
  • Solid experience in manual testing with a focus on functional, regression, and API testing.
  • Proficient in using API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
  • Good experience in defect tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Ability to write clear, detailed bug reports and reproduce issues consistently.
  • Basic understanding of test automation (Appium, Selenium, or Postman automation).
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice to Have (Optional)

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
  • Understanding of API security testing and validation of HTTP status codes, payloads, etc.
