Desktop Support Engineer:

General Description:

Desktop Support Engineer for the Sales & Support of Clients products & services. The candidate will possess a broad functional & technical knowledge of computer and peripheral devices, operating systems, and software assistance and troubleshooting.

The candidate will be highly experienced in providing excellent customer service and problem escalation/resolution.

Primary Job Functions:

We are seeking energetic and customer-focused Technical Support Executives for our US and UK inbound/outbound voice process. The role involves providing real-time assistance to customers on basic technical issues related to Windows OS, email configuration, printer/scanner setup, and Outlook troubleshooting.

You will handle high call volumes calls/day) while maintaining excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from US/UK customers efficiently and professionally.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues related to:

  • Microsoft Windows OS

  • Printer and scanner connectivity
  • Email and Outlook setup/configuration

  • Provide step-by-step guidance to customers over the phone.

  • Log all interactions accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Meet daily call targets, quality metrics, and response SLAs.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher technical teams when required.

    Maintain a courteous and professional tone across all interactions.

Experience:

2+ years of Customer handling and managing tickets independently in a technical support process

Shift timings: US & UK Shift (8:00 PM- 6:00 AM) & (4:00 PM- 01:00 AM)

Nature of Job: Full time

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English (neutral accent preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS, printers, scanners, and Outlook/email settings.
  • Prior experience in international voice process (US/UK) preferred.
  • Ability to handle high call flow and work under pressure.
  • Good typing and documentation skills.
  • Immediate joiners strongly preferred.

Shift:

  • UK Shift: Monday to Saturday, 1:30 PM 11:00 PM IST

  • Saturday special shift: 4:00 PM 4:00 AM (counted as 1.5 paid days)

  • US Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM 4:30 AM IST

  • Saturday Fixed Off

  • Sunday shift: 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM (counted as 1.5 paid days)

Working Days: 6 days a week
