Responsibilities
  1. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  3. Repairs: Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts and components to restore equipment functionality.
  4. Equipment Inspection: Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  5. Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment manuals.
  6. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring availability of necessary components for repairs.
  7. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards. Implement safety protocols to mitigate risks.
  8. Calibration: Calibrate and adjust mechanical equipment to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
  9. Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to repair or modify equipment
  10. Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors for the procurement of parts and services required for maintenance activities.
  11. Emergency Repairs: Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
  12. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and implement best practices.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: 9+ years of experience in Mechanical and control systems within the petrochemical industry.
