Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing server-side applications using Python in an agile environment.
  • Excellent programming and debugging skills, strong analytical abilities, effective communication, unit testing, and code coverage expertise.
  • Hands-on experience working in containerized environments; comfortable with Docker and Kubernetes (K8S).
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in REST API development and integration.
  • Ability to configure, manage, and optimize different servers such as MySQL, MongoDB, Apache, NFS, SMB, etc.
  • Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Skilled in writing optimized SQL queries and managing relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with red teaming and offensive security techniques, including adversary simulation, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework, understanding of attacker TTPs, and the ability to map findings to improve detection and response strategies.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge in the following areas would be an added advantage:
  • Ability to develop custom security utilities, payloads, and automation scripts in Python to support offensive and defensive security research.
  • Exposure to malware analysis, sandboxing techniques, and reverse engineering basics to analyze evasive threats.
  • Ability to collaborate with security and engineering teams to improve application security, threat detection, and incident response readiness
  • Passion for continuous learning, staying updated on emerging security threats and technology trends, and applying innovative solutions within the organization.
