Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Java Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions. You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy efficient and scalable Java applications.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, QA, other developers) to define, design, and ship new features.
• Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and stability of applications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and team practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Assist in the maintenance and support of existing applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in Java SE and Java EE (or Spring Framework).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, ).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
