Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our fast-growing product team in Chennai or Bangalore. This is a high-impact role ideal for individuals who thrive in startup environments, love solving complex problems, and are passionate about building scalable backend systems using modern technologies.

You will play a key role in architecting, designing, and developing robust backend services and APIs that power our next-generation products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.

- Architect and implement solutions with a strong focus on scalability, security, and performance.

- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Elasticsearch.

- Build and manage microservices and work within a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Leverage cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Azure for deployment, scaling, and performance optimization.

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following best practices in software engineering.

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical mentoring.

- Apply strong Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) knowledge to build optimized solutions.

Key Requirements :

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

- Prior experience working in high-growth startups or building scalable SaaS products.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and automated testing frameworks.
