Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned SAP BTP Integration Architect with 13+ years of experience in SAP integration, middleware, and enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Integration Suite, while modernizing legacy landscapes and driving clean core principles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Integration Strategy & Architecture

  • Define and implement SAP BTP integration strategy aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Architect end-to-end integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
  • Ensure seamless integration across SAP and non-SAP systems, both on-premise and cloud.

2. Implementation & Development

  • Lead development of integration flows, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Migrate legacy systems (e.g., PI/PO, Informatica) to modern BTP-based solutions.
  • Apply Clean Core design principles to maintain extensibility and upgrade safety.

3. Technical Leadership & Governance

  • Establish integration best practices, security standards, and governance models.
  • Provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure compliance with SAP BTP standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues and optimize performance.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with business stakeholders, architects, and SAP product teams to define integration requirements.
  • Guide cross-functional teams in cloud-native development, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

5. Project Delivery

  • Oversee full lifecycle of integration projectsfrom requirement gathering to go-live.
  • Manage vendors and consultants to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Required Skills:

  • 13+ years in SAP integration and middleware.
  • Deep expertise in SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh.
  • Strong command of OData, REST, SOAP, and OAuth-based integrations.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and third-party SaaS integrations.
  • Proven leadership in Clean Core architecture and BTP extensibility models.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP AI Core, and SAP Business Data Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud integration with SAP.
  • Knowledge of modern iPaaS platforms, event-driven architecture, and SAP Gateway.
