Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our software development teams. This role requires a strong technical background combined with proven leadership skills to drive execution, ensure engineering excellence, and foster innovation. The ideal candidate will balance hands-on technical contributions with people management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers (SDEs, Sr. SDEs, etc.).
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to define roadmaps and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Establish and enforce best practices in coding standards, architecture, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development sessions with engineers.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and bring relevant improvements to the stack.
  • Manage resource planning, hiring, and team scaling.
  • Monitor engineering metrics (velocity, quality, uptime) and drive continuous improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of overall software development experience, with at least 2–4 years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in full-stack development , Java, Go, Python, React, Flutter, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and scalable distributed systems.
  • Proven experience leading teams delivering high-quality products in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

  • Prior experience in startup or high-growth environments.
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with business priorities.
