We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Developer (Contract Role) who can contribute to designing and building world-class iOS applications for our US-based clients.

About the Role :

The Senior iOS Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance iOS applications. The role demands strong hands-on experience with Objective-C, Swift, and SwiftUI, along with proven expertise in app architecture, performance optimization, and App Store deployment.

You will work closely with onshore teams in a client-facing environment, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining code quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for iOS using Objective-C, Swift, and SwiftUI.

- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless app functionality.

- Integrate RESTful APIs, Firebase, and third-party libraries for backend communication.

- Implement push notifications, analytics, and app monitoring tools.

- Manage app builds, testing, and distribution through TestFlight and App Store Connect.

- Diagnose and resolve performance issues, memory leaks, and crashes.

- Maintain clean, scalable, and testable code following best practices and architecture guidelines.

- Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality and consistency across the project.

- Stay updated with Apples latest frameworks, SDKs, and design principles.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 7 years of iOS development experience.

- Strong expertise in Objective-C, Swift, and SwiftUI.

- Hands-on experience with Core Data, Core Animation, and UIKit frameworks.

- Proven track record in publishing apps on the App Store.

- Strong knowledge of Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Push Notifications, etc.).

- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON data.

- Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket for version control.

- Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Good to Have (Preferred) :

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for iOS apps (Jenkins, Bitrise, GitHub Actions).

- Experience with Unit Testing / UI Testing frameworks.

- Exposure to UX/UI design tools like Figma or Zeplin.

- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

- Experience working with US-based distributed teams.
