Department: Neonatal & Surgical Intensive Care Unit (NSICU)

Role Overview:
The NSICU Incharge will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the NSICU, ensuring high-quality patient care, effective staff management, adherence to clinical protocols, and compliance with hospital policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing and support staff in the NSICU
- Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and clinical protocols
- Monitor patient care and assist in managing critical cases
- Plan duty rosters, manage leave schedules, and ensure adequate staffing
- Conduct training, orientation, and performance evaluation of team members
- Collaborate with physicians and other departments for seamless patient care
- Prepare and maintain records, reports, and audits as required
- Handle emergency situations efficiently and support in crisis management
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Sc / M.Sc Nursing with valid registration
- Minimum 5–7 years of ICU/NICU/SICU experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
