Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Lead with deep expertise in Laravel 9 and above, strong object-oriented PHP programming skills, and hands-on experience building large-scale web applications. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in the healthcare domain and will lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions for our multi-tenant Laravel-based healthcare information system (HIMES).

This role demands strong technical leadership, a passion for best practices, and the ability to mentor engineers while ensuring scalable and secure architecture.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Laravel 9 and above, including the latest features.
  • Expert in PHP OOP, Eloquent ORM, Laravel queues, events, Sanctum/Passport, route model binding, middleware, job scheduling, and API authentication.
  • Experience working in a multi-tenant, modular Laravel application environment.
  • Good understanding of SQL (SQL Server) with ability to write optimized queries and work with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with Redis, API rate limiting, queue drivers, broadcasting, WebSockets, and caching strategies.
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, third-party services, and webhooks.
  • Proficient in version control (Git), Docker basics, and CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in healthcare product development (EHR/EMR/HIS) or regulated industries.
  • Experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, unit testing (PHPUnit/Pest), and Laravel Telescope/Debugbar.
