Content Creator and Social Media Assistant

We're looking for a Content Creator and Studio Assistant - someone who lives and breathes fashion, thrives in front of and behind the camera, and wants to grow with an emerging brand shaping its voice and visual identity. Someone who feels at home in Mumbai's fashion and art scene - familiar with the key places, events, and communities, and confident in networking with industry professionals. 

You'll be working closely with the Co-Founder and Creative Director across creative, admin, and digital storytelling. This is a hands-on role - part content creator, part social media assistant. Please mind that it is not a fashion design-related job. 

What you'll do:

• Create, film, and edit content for social media (reels, BTS, photos, podcasts) and stay on top of social marketing trends.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera for trend discussions and brand storytelling.
• Manage Social Media calendar and Shoot Calendar
• Engage with followers and strategic accounts
• Assist with lookbooks and editorial shoots by preparing content schedules in advance and capturing behind-the-scenes material on the day.
• Create talking points, visual storylines, and shoot drafts for reels and digital content.
• Research trends, explore the Mumbai fashion scene, and bring creative ideas to the table.
• Create and manage an influencer and content creator database for collaborations and giftings.
• Attend cultural events, fashion pop-ups, and marketplaces in Mumbai to stay connected, scout inspiration and help with marketing activities.
• Stay immersed in the fashion business backstage - constant learning, reading, and staying informed about the industry are key parts of the job.
• Handle ad-hoc fashion studio tasks - organizing samples, unpacking and packing orders, providing occasional customer support, or running errands as needed. It's a startup environment, so it's an all-hands-on-deck approach when required.

Who you are:

• Passionate about fashion and visual storytelling, with a fashion background (fashion management, marketing, merchandising and design also count) - either through university degree, past jobs, or projects (for example - content creation, fashion articles, design portfolio)
• Always stay on top of social media trends and create engaging, scroll-stopping and on-brand content that aligns with our visual identity and tone
• Skilled with photo/video editing tools. Adobe Suite, Canva and chosen video editing app.
• Confident communicator, organized, proactive, and curious
• Based in Mumbai, with access to Khar West (studio) and Juhu (coworking space).
• Fluent in English and Hindi
• Bonus points for basic knowledge of graphic design

Details:

• Entry-level or Internship
• Part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week) with the option to transition to full-time in January 2026
• Start: November 2025
• This is an on-site position, with occasional travel across Mumbai for shoots, events, and meetings.
• Compensation: Based on experience & contracted hours
• Interviews: 1 online + 1 in person if you are shortlisted & a task
• It's a freelance role with set weekly hours
