- Market mapping and sourcing:
- List academies across priority sports in Mumbai and Pune
- Identify targets that fit the SFL thesis
- Reach out to founders and coaches to set first meetings
- Screening and profiling:
- Capture basics such as sport, catchment, capacity, pricing, programs, coach pedigree, and reputation
- Review social presence, parent feedback, and visible facilities
- Create a one page profile for each target
- Data and modeling support:
- Collect initial numbers such as students, batches, fee slabs, center costs, and utilization
- Build simple unit economics in Excel using SFL templates
- Flag risks and missing data
- Diligence and investment support:
- Maintain the issues log
- Prepare short notes, slides, and a clean data room for each target
- Draft call summaries and site visit notes
- Integration preparation:
- Outline first quarter priorities for brand, tech, and reporting using the SFL checklist
- Track next steps after each meeting and the owner for each task

- A weekly list of qualified targets with clean one pagers
- On time first pass models with clear pass or proceed calls
- Neat files, links, and notes that enable fast decisions
