About the Role

We are looking for a talented HTML + InDesign Designer with a strong background in digital publishing, eLearning, and content design. The ideal candidate will combine creative design skills with technical expertise in HTML and Adobe InDesign to develop high-quality, visually appealing, and interactive content. You will collaborate closely with the editorial, design, and technical teams to bring concepts to life in both print-ready and digital formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and format content, layouts, and templates using Adobe InDesign.
  • Develop and optimize HTML-based layouts for digital publishing and eLearning projects.
  • Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and visually consistent across platforms.
  • Work with editorial and production teams to transform raw content into polished deliverables.
  • Collaborate with developers, instructional designers, and project managers for end-to-end delivery.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all projects.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure error-free designs before final delivery.
  • Support digital publishing workflows and troubleshoot layout/formatting issues.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 36 years of professional experience as a Designer in HTML + Adobe InDesign.
  • Strong expertise in Adobe InDesign (print and digital layouts).
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with eBooks, eLearning modules, or digital publishing projects.
  • Good eye for typography, color theory, and layout aesthetics.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)

  • Experience with EPUB, XML workflows, or digital publishing tools.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery for interactive designs.
  • Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) or SCORM-compliant content.
  • Prior experience in educational publishing or content services industry.
