Role Overview: As an IoT/Embedded Test Engineer at Pentair, you will play a crucial role in driving the testing activities for IoT projects within the business unit. Your responsibilities will include defining the testing strategy for IoT applications, conducting test automation for API, mobile, and web applications, utilizing IoT device simulators for testing, and writing/executing test cases across various areas of IoT applications. Key Responsibilities: - Define the testing strategy for IoT applications - Conduct test automation for API, mobile, and web applications - Test using IoT device simulators - Write and execute test cases for Cloud Server Side/API, Web Application, Mobile App (iOS & Android), and Integration with Enterprise systems Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline - Experience in APIs testing using tools like postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured - Proficiency in all stages of software testing including Requirement gathering, Test plan preparation, Test case creation, Defect tracking using tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, etc. - Experience in Validation & Verification of Software through various testing types such as Smoke testing, Black box testing, Regression testing, etc. - Ability to map business requirements into test specifications, design test estimations, prepare test scope & approach - Familiarity with Software testing life cycle, SCRUM/Agile process, project planning, and risk management - Good to have experience in designing automated test frameworks for web & mobile applications using tools like Selenium, Appium - Good to have experience in AWS Cloud environment and Load & Performance testing using JMeter - Proficient in source code control tools like Git/SVN and documentation tools like Confluence Additional Company Details: N/A,
