Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases environments).
  • Optimize database performance using Query Store, DMVs, and Extended Events.
  • Design and manage indexes, partitions, and statistics.
  • Develop and maintain T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Implement backup/recovery and high-availability solutions (Always On, Log Shipping, Clustering).
  • Conduct capacity planning and ensure database security.
  • Collaborate with developers for performance tuning and schema design.
  • Handle database deployments, upgrades, and patching.Maintain documentation of database configurations and processes.

Requirements
:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience with SQL Server
  • Strong T-SQL, query optimization, and execution plan analysis skills.
  • Understanding of SQL Server internals and high-availability setups.
  • Experience with SQL Server Agent, backup strategies, and automation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Redgate, SolarWinds) is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Azure SQL or cloud-hosted SQL experience.
  • Basic SSIS and ETL knowledge.
  • Microsoft certifications (MCSA, Azure DBA Associate).
  • Experience with CI/CD for database deployments.
