Position Overview:
Wellcaza School of Health Sciences invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Phlebotomy to support its expanding academic programmes in clinical and diagnostic laboratory sciences. This is a full-time, campus-based faculty role for candidates passionate about shaping the next generation of allied healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured lectures, demonstrations, and lab sessions for undergraduate CPP Phlebotomy students in accordance with academic curriculum of M S University.
- Provide academic mentoring, evaluation support, and examination preparation for assigned modules.
- Special focus is expected in areas of various methods of specimen collection and biosafety
- Assist in supervising students during clinical postings or internships (including occasional Saturdays if applicable).
Essential Qualifications: BMLT from UGC recognized university in regular mode with minimum 1 year clinical or laboratory experience in position of Lab In charge or Manager /M.Sc in MLT (Medical Laboratory Technology) or equivalent clinical laboratory science qualification degree should be completed in regular mode from a UGC-recognized university in India.
Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in DMLT/B.Sc/B.Voc MLT programmes in institutions affiliated to any recognized Health Sciences University in India, OR Foreign postgraduates with equivalent qualifications from a university ranked within the top 250 of QS World Rankings, and the degree is certified by UGC as equivalent in India.
Preferred Candidates: Recently retired Senior Laboratory Technologist with BMLT degree or DMLT diploma from DME /Medical Colleges will also be considered either as adhoc faculty or tutor
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Full Day)
Optional/Rotational Duties: Saturdays (For Clinical Supervision, if required only )
Weekly Off: Sunday
Mode: Strictly Offline (On-Campus Teaching Only)
