Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our finance team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring statutory compliance, accounting accuracy, and effective coordination across Indian and overseas entities. The candidate will also lead a team of few members and play a key role in decision-making and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Indian Accounting & Compliance:

• Ensure timely and accurate accounting and books closure in compliance with Indian GAAP.

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including vendor payments, expense management, and journal entries to ensure overall compliance.

• Ensure strict adherence to payment controls: verify Purchase Order (PO) compliance, applicable TDS, GST and other related compliances before processing.

• Supervise monthly and quarterly closure of books, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Lead TDS and GST compliance (returns, payments, reconciliations, and audits).

Overseas Accounting (with local consultants):

• Liaise with accounting consultants in South Africa, USA, UK, Belgium, Dubai, Singapore, and Malaysia for bookkeeping, local compliance, and tax matters.

• Review and consolidate reports from overseas entities for group-level reporting.

• Review intercompany transactions as per Group Transfer Pricing policy and related reconciliations.

Audit & Regulatory Compliance:

• Coordinate with statutory auditors and internal auditors for periodic audits, including financial statement audits, tax audits, and internal controls testing.

• Ensure timely filing of TDS, Advance tax payments and Income tax returns and direct tax compliance in collaboration with tax advisors.

• Drive Transfer Pricing documentation and compliance in collaboration with tax advisors.

• Ensure timely submissions of regulatory and statutory filings as required.

Team Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.

• Ensure task allocation, training, review of work, and professional development of the team.
