Role Overview

As a
Video Editor

at Cumin Co., you will play a key role in shaping how our brand connects with consumers visually. From creating engaging social media reels to editing campaign videos and product stories, you will transform ideas into impactful content that resonates with our audience. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about storytelling in the digital-first D2C space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce short-form and long-form video content for social media, ads, campaigns, and brand storytelling.
  • Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to develop visually appealing content tailored for D2C audiences.
  • Add graphics, motion elements, text animations, and sound design to elevate video quality.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all video outputs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, editing tools, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects with quick turnaround times.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of professional experience as a Video Editor, preferably with D2C brands or agencies.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and design aesthetics.
  • Knowledge of social media formats (Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and ability to take feedback constructively.
  • Basic knowledge of shooting video or handling cameras is a plus.
