Job Description
iLEAD is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Admissions to lead the entire admissions function across UG and PG programs. The role requires strong strategic thinking, sales leadership, data-driven decision making, and the ability to manage a high-performing counselling and telecalling team. This position plays a critical role in achieving enrollment targets and ensuring an exceptional applicant experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Planning
- Design and implement the annual admissions strategy across UG and PG programs.
- Set enrollment targets and lead planning efforts to achieve them.
- Identify growth opportunities in markets, channels, and partnerships.
Sales Management & Conversion
- Drive qualified lead-to-application and application-to-enrollment conversion through structured sales processes.
- Personally oversee key lead segments and monitor team-level sales performance.
- Ensure high-quality and consistent counselling practices across the team.
Counselling & Telecalling Operations
- Lead a team of admissions counsellors and telecalling executives responsible for engaging and converting large lead volumes.
- Set performance metrics for counsellors and callers; run daily/weekly performance reviews.
- Ensure quality control, training, and scripting consistency across all outbound and inbound communications.
CRM & Funnel Optimization
- Oversee CRM usage (Meritto) for lead management, automation, and reporting.
- Use filters and data insights to provide targeted lead segments for improved conversion.
- Define lead qualification frameworks and implement structured follow-up mechanisms.
- Leverage CRM analytics to identify drop-offs, improve follow-up strategies, and optimize conversions.
Data-Driven Strategy
- Track and analyse key funnel metrics including lead quality, counsellor productivity, and call-to-conversion ratios.
- Run weekly dashboards and prepare executive-level reports.
Team Management & Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing admissions team.
- Implement continuous training on counselling, product knowledge, and CRM utilisation.
- Build a culture of accountability, urgency, ownership, and excellence.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Align closely with marketing, academic, and outreach teams for messaging consistency and seamless candidate experience.
- Coordinate with external consultants, agencies, and school networks where relevant.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Essential).
- Experience: Minimum 12+ years in admissions, education sales, or B2C consultative sales (Essential).
- Proven experience in managing counselling teams and medium to large-scale telecalling operations (Essential).
- Demonstrated success in driving student enrollment in higher education institutions (Essential).
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Essential).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities (Essential).
- Leadership & Personal Traits: High energy, goal-oriented mindset with excellent communication and leadership abilities (Essential).

Pay: ₹100, ₹150,000.00 per month
