Trainee Draftsman

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D drawings and assist in creating basic 3D models using AutoCAD.
• Understand and apply fundamental design principles related to MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems.
• Read and interpret architectural plans, structural drawings, and MEP layouts accurately.
• Draft schematic diagrams, layout plans, sections, and detailed drawings under guidance.
• Maintain and update drawing documentation, version control, and revision logs.
• Participate in technical training sessions and follow instructions from senior engineers / design leads.
• Gradually take responsibility for real project drawings with accuracy and professionalism.
• Apply industry codes, standards, and best drafting practices while preparing layouts.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, site execution, and procurement, to understand design requirements.
• Revise drawings and layouts as per engineering markups, QA reviews, and client feedback.
• Demonstrate consistent improvement in accuracy, speed, attention to detail, and understanding of MEP systems.
• Ensure all drawings prepared are organized, clear, and meet company quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering (or any equivalent technical field).
• AutoCAD certification is mandatory. Basic knowledge of MS Office will be an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of construction or building drawings is preferred. (Training will be provided as required.)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9, ₹20,000.00 per month
