Roles and Responsibilities
- Translate Kashmiri language content into English with high accuracy and fluency.
- Review translated content for grammar, syntax, and cultural sensitivity.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand requirements and deliver translations on time.
- Maintain confidentiality of all documents and information shared during the translation process.
- Ensure consistency in formatting, style, and tone throughout the translation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 0-1 year of experience in translation or linguistics preferred but not required.
- Strong proficiency in both Kashmiri (native speaker) and English languages.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with localization processes for publishing materials across different regions or cultures.
