Job Brief About Junior Accountant

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, processing invoices, and assisting with audits. The Junior Accountant will support the senior accounting staff, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Salary Range: 3 Lakh -4.2 Lakh Based on Experience

Junior Accountant Responsibilities

  • Handle data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Support budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist senior accountants with various tasks and projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Junior Accountant Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Junior Accountant or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP or Zoho Books, excel).
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
