What you'll achieve
As a Senior Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer's business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

  • Design and implement highly scalable, distributed systems with advanced data mobility features.

  • Serve as a technical leader, conducting deep design and code reviews to ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions.

  • Lead initiatives to integrate AI technologies into PowerStore data mobility solutions.

  • Mentor and guide senior and principal engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the Scrum team's work aligns with business objectives.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Master's or Ph.D. preferred) with 10-12 years of software engineering experience, including significant leadership in complex, distributed systems.

  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java (RxJava), C++, Python and multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows).

  • Proven ability to apply advanced software engineering concepts and design patterns in building complex, distributed systems.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to drive team collaboration.

  • Hands-on experience with AI technologies, including AI tools, LLMs, and agentic AI frameworks.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in the storage domain or large-scale data systems.
