Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Development

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components for industrial applications.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Work with CAD and simulation software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, etc.).

2. Installation & Commissioning

  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment in plants.
  • Ensure equipment is installed as per design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors during erection and commissioning.

3. Maintenance & Reliability

  • Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures, breakdowns, and performance issues.
  • Ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.

4. Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Study production processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Support lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in energy-saving and productivity enhancement projects.

5. Project Management & Coordination

  • Assist in planning, budgeting, and execution of mechanical works in industrial projects.
  • Prepare technical reports, material requisitions, and equipment specifications.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams (production, electrical, civil, procurement).

6. Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, ISO, and statutory regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹19, ₹58,860.96 per month
