As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Your contributions will have a significant impact on our products' success, and you will be part of a team that is passionate about innovation, creativity, and excellence. Your Responsibilities:

• Build and implement automated quality assurance best practices to ensure the reliability and performance of our AI systems.
• Design and develop robust context systems that determine how AI systems store, recall, and utilize information during tasks and conversations.
• Develop and maintain analytics and data models that underpin scalable and high-performing AI products.
• Integrate specialized knowledge and workflows to tailor AI interactions for industries such as IT, healthcare, or finance.
• Analyze AI system outputs and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and refine context and prompt strategies.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt design patterns and context engineering best practices.
• Partner with diverse teams to align context strategies with project goals and seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into products and workflows.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of problem-solving experience on complex systems.

• Proven track record of solving challenging problems.

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong programming skills in Python, with a solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP) concepts.

• Experience with LLM (Large Language Model) evaluation.

• Hands-on experience in programming LLMs. Familiarity with various prompting techniques including zero-shot, role-playing, and chain-of-thought.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

• A willingness and ability to continuously learn and adapt in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Contribution to LLM-related open-source project

• AI model training experiences

• Experience shipping LLM applications.
