We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our team at Digiweave Mediatech. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and support day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts of all clients.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing.
  • Handle petty cash and expense reports.
  • Assist in preparing invoices and tracking payments.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., GST, TDS).
  • Support with payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
  • Coordinate with the management team to ensure efficient financial operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field (or pursuing one).
  • Proven experience or internship in accounting roles is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS) and financial regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
