About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Annotation Executive to join our growing AI/ML team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data labeling across multiple projects. You will work closely with project managers, SMEs, and data scientists to deliver well-annotated datasets that drive high-performing AI models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data annotation tasks across multiple data types — Image, Video, Text, Audio, and 3D datasets.
  • Ensure high-quality and consistent annotations as per project guidelines.
  • Apply annotation techniques such as bounding box, polygon, segmentation, transcription, etc.
  • Participate in quality audits and feedback sessions to maintain project standards.
  • Collaborate with Team Leads, SMEs, and Project Managers for smooth project execution.
  • Identify and report annotation issues, edge cases, and process gaps proactively.
  • Assist in training new annotators and help in improving team efficiency.
  • Stay updated with AI/ML advancements and new annotation tools.

Annotation Expertise Areas:

  • Image & Video: Bounding Box, Polygon, Semantic Segmentation, Keypoints
  • 3D Point Cloud: LiDAR Annotation, 3D Cuboids, Semantic Segmentation
  • Audio: Speech, Noise Labelling, Transcription
  • Text: NER, Sentiment Analysis, Intent Detection, NLP Tasks
  • Generative AI: Prompt generation and evaluation

Tools Experience (Preferred):

CVAT, Amazon SageMaker, LabelStudio, SuperAnnotate, Roboflow, Loft, Cogito, Slicer3D, Mindkosh, Kognic, Praat, and other annotation platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • 1.5–3 years of hands-on experience in data annotation or related AI/ML data operations.
  • Strong understanding of annotation processes, quality standards, and tools.
  • Experience in quality review, QA audits, or team coordination is an added advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML workflows and dataset management is desirable.
