JOB PURPOSE (Overall Objective)The Cloud Engineer will play a critical role in building,maintaining, monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting Eternal Robotics' hybrid cloud infrastructure for Hypervise. The position focuses on ensuring seamless performance of AI-based video processing pipelines, reliable GCP service orchestration, and low-latency data movement between edge IPCs and the cloud backend. JOB PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES and JOB CONTENTMonitor and maintain GCP infrastructure including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, and Pub/Sub.

Manage and optimize firestore databases, buckets, memory stores, and service logs. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for real-time computer vision data ingestion and processing. Monitor CPU/GPU usage, network health, and latency issues across distributed infrastructure.

Implement disaster recovery, backup, and load balancing strategies. Collaborate with full-stack, and CV teams for system health audits and root cause analysis. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Deployment Manager.

Configure IAM roles, OAuth, and service accounts for secure data exchange. Support edge-to-cloud communication pipelines (from IPC/Jetson Orin to GCP backend). Handle maintenance windows, patches, and real-time alerts (using tools like Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver, etc).

Incident resolution within < 4 hours30% improvement in resource utilization on GCPQUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science / Cloud Computing / Information Technology or related fields. Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in full stack software engineering and 1+ years of managing cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP) in production. Skills: GCP stack: Cloud Run, Firestore, Pub/Sub, Scheduler, IAM, Cloud MonitoringDocker, Kubernetes (GKE optional), TerraformBash/Python scripting for automation

Understanding of networking, firewall rules, NAT, VPC peering
