Role Description

We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Backend Developer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java and the Spring Boot framework, a proven track record of designing and implementing high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services, and a commitment to best practices in software development.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on professional experience developing large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17+).
  • Deep experience with the Spring ecosystem, especially Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA/JDBC.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development principles.
  • Experience with Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and proficiency in SQL.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.
  • Experience with message brokers and asynchronous communication (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and data structures.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Git or other distributed version control systems.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Experience with cloud platforms Google Cloud) and related services.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, monitoring, and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
