Job Description – Engineer Trainee

Position Overview

The Engineer Trainee will support project execution, technical coordination, and day-to-day engineering tasks while learning company standards, safety practices, and project workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in planning, supervision, and execution of ongoing projects
  • Perform site visits, collect technical data, and prepare reports
  • Support design, drawings, estimation, BOQ documentation, and material planning
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Maintain project documentation, approvals, and checklists
  • Learn company tools, software, and engineering standards
  • Report daily activities to supervisors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or relevant field)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings, site work, and measurements
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD/technical software is an advantage
