Position Summary: - The Maintenance In charge /Senior Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for managing day-to-day maintenance operations in the solar panel manufacturing plant. This role ensures the proper functioning of machinery and equipment, supports preventive maintenance schedules, and minimizes downtime while promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Maintenance Operations: Supervise daily maintenance operations for production machinery. Ensure quick response to equipment breakdowns and implement immediate corrective actions.

2. Team Supervision & Training:
Lead, train, and supervise the Maintenance Engineers and technicians. Ensure adherence to safety standards, equipment handling protocols, and regulatory compliance.3.

3. Preventive Maintenance Implementation:
Implement and execute preventive maintenance schedules as designed by the Maintenance Manager. Track maintenance activities and ensure all work orders are completed efficiently.

4. Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis:
Troubleshoot complex equipment failures and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and engineering team for root cause analysis and resolution.

5. Inventory & Spare Parts Management:
Oversee the inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring timely availability and proper storage. Work with the procurement team to ensure quick replenishment.

6. Process Improvement:
Identify and implement improvements to enhance the performance of machinery and reduce maintenance downtime.

7. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including downtime logs, work orders, and equipment history. Generate reports for the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment handling.
  • Excellent organizational and team management skills.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400, ₹700,000.00 per year
